Dogmeat!

Hello and welcome to my First post within the Skyrim and Fallout page and It’s gotta be on one of the best things to do with Fallout (well in my eyes) is Dogmeat!

Dogmeat has been featured in the Fallout games from the beginning but became a companion in Fallout 3 but was a possiable companion in Fallout 1.

Okay so lets go from the beginning:

Fallout 1His previous owner had been killed by thugs hired by Gizmo (most likely the Skulz) about a month before Dogmeat met the Vault Dweller. He can be recruited by giving him an iguana-on-a-stick or wearing a leather jacket.

Fallout 2Dogmeat is also a special non-player character who can be located and recruited in Fallout 2. He can be found in the special encounter “The Café of Broken Dreams”, though this is an easter egg and should not be considered canon.

Fallout 3 – Dogmeat is found in the Scrapyard (south of Minefield), fighting several raiders. Dogmeat can be recruited without incident. If the event to encounter him is triggered and the Lone Wanderer does not approach him.

Fallout 4 – Dogmeat can be encountered at Red Rocket truck stop, an objective entitled “Greet the dog” will appear in the “Miscellaneous” section of the “Quests” tab in the player character’s Pip-Boy. The objective is completed when the player character first initiates a ‘conversation’ with Dogmeat.

Photos of Dogmeat….

Over the different games Dogmeat’s appearence has changed thats because it mostly a different dog in each game.

And this is Dogmeat from fallout 4

In my eyes they get better and better plus what more would you want than a Dog following you around the wasteland fighting crime and being what the common saying is a man’s best friend.

Thanks for reading this little post on Dogmeat if there’s anything you want me to write about on Fallout or Skyrim then post in the comments section to let me know.
